Wow! Well we were never that cruel, but we did tend to focus more on breathing powers than raw magic. Though emotions were rarely encoraged.

For example, once we had a cave-in and an entire nurcery was lost with a full clutch of about 30 eggs. We never morned the loss of the eggs, just the loss the hive would suffer in terms of loss of Dragon production.
